Mrs Sevana is an altruistic woman who loves to help people. She truly believes in saying of Mother Teressa “We all can’t do great things but we all can do small things with great love”. She always tries to make a difference in people’s lives with her small efforts.
Sevana belongs to a small town of Goa called Cavelossim. Goa is a beautiful state of India which is known for its heritage and hospitality. She is an MBA in Human Resource Management. She has worked as an educationist for 7 years. She started her job as a lecturer after completing her MCom. She got married when she was in her Final year of MCom. After that she gave birth to a beautiful baby and joined teaching as a career and started loving it. Also, she has successfully completed her bachelors in Education.Several years after that she got a thyroid problem and was asked to give up teaching job which she loved the most,but she didn’t give up! Then she joined the corporate sector and worked there for 4 years and simultaneously completed her MBA.
Currently,she is pursuing law in Salgaokar Law College,Panjim. She believes that her law studies would help ladies and senior citizens to stand against the atrocities they are facing.Most of them give up fighting even for their rights because of the exorbitant fees of lawyers. Also, she had started a restaurant business with her husband& today she is a proud and successful owner of Pearls Marina De Santa Cruz in Cavelossim.
She wants to be a role model for all the ladies and show them that they can achieve their dreams along with the household work and help them realise their true potentials. She believes Women empowerment is not about putting men down but trying to be at par with men, achieving your rights, freedom, and giving your best.
