Dr Deepalee Das is an empowered, accomplished and charismatic women who hastruly been an inspiration for everyone who wants to achieve their goals and become successful in life.

She is a true example of an accomplished woman who is determined to rise and shine.

She is an Associate professor and head of the department of Zoology in D. K. College. She belongs to Assam, Guwahati, and has a beautiful family comprises of 3 children, 2 sons, 1 daughter in law and an amazing husband and very supportive life partner who is a retired Associate Professor. Her elder son and daughter in law are Assistant professors of civil engineering and the younger son is a mechanical engineer.

She is fond of teaching, Writing, Acting, Dancing, Modelling and Rally Driving. Also, she has been an author of many Text books, Story books, Poem books etc. Apart from this, she is a senior actress in Assam, and has been a news reader in Guwahati Doordarshan Kendra.

She is an award winningActress and has got many awards in different film festivals for her leading role in a documentary film named ‘A Living Legend’ which was a central government production.

Also, she is a professional classical and traditional dancer, and has represented North east in South Africa, Singapore and Bangladesh on Incredible India, and has received prizes and certificate of appreciation. She has been honoured with multifaceted woman of Assam, 2019 for her versatile professionalism and dedication. Also, she has been honoured with women of the year in 2019. Recently she has been honoured with Woman of substance in 2020.

She is a Role Model for many and has won many beauty pageants. She won the Runner up title for queen and princess of northeast, 2019 and queen of India International, 2019. Also, she has won Most Popular Face subtitle in both the pageants. She is a rally driver and has won many different car rallies.

She believes that Women Empowerment is the most crucial point to be noted in today’s time for the overall development of a country. Women are empowered when they are able to acquire the opportunities available to them without limitations and restrictions. She believes a non-biased gender based society in which equality will flourish will be an empowered society.

She is the only Associate Professor with Ph.D. degree who is rocking the ramp in her age. She wants to prove that age and profession can’t be an obstacle to enjoy the journey of a Beauty Pageant.She believes that journey of Mrs India International Queen will help her increase her self-confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, interview skills and poise.
