MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Palak Badlani

Mrs. Palak Badlani - finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2027

Congratulations Mrs. Palak Badlani from New Delhi for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2027! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Palak and here are her amazing answers:

Name: Mrs. Palak Badlani

Profession: I am an Actuarial Science professional and the Founder & Entrepreneur of Whims nd Craze Decor, a decor business where I combine my analytical skills with my passion for creativity and entrepreneurship.

Qualification: MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.

Location: New Delhi

Strengths: I would describe myself as resilient, disciplined, empathetic and ambitious. I believe in taking responsibility, continuously learning and turning challenges into opportunities. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to balance analytical thinking with creativity while connecting with people with warmth and sincerity.

Weakness: I can sometimes be overly self-critical because I set very high standards for myself. However, I am learning to appreciate progress as much as perfection and to trust the journey rather than constantly focusing on what could have been better.

Likes: I love creativity, travelling, discovering new experiences, having meaningful conversations, learning new things and turning ideas into something tangible.

Dislikes: I dislike negativity, dishonesty and any mindset that limits a person simply because of their gender, background or circumstances.

Tell us about your family:

My family is my strongest support system and the foundation of who I am today. They have always encouraged me to dream independently, work hard and remain grounded. Their love and support have given me the confidence to pursue my ambitions while staying connected to my values.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:

  • Believe you can and you’re halfway there.
  • If you never ask, the answer is always no.
  • Great things are achieved through effort, not merely through wishes.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

I am proud of building my professional journey across two different fields—Actuarial Science and entrepreneurship. Completing my MBA from NMIMS Mumbai while developing my own business has taught me discipline, adaptability and leadership.

I am particularly proud that every staff member I hire at Whims nd Craze Decor is a woman. For me, this is more than a hiring choice; it is a small but meaningful step towards creating opportunities for women to earn, grow and become financially independent.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

For me, women’s empowerment means giving a woman the freedom, confidence, skills and financial independence to make her own choices. It is not about women being better than men, it is about women having equal opportunities to become the best version of themselves.

I believe empowerment becomes meaningful when we create opportunities, not just conversations. Through my own business, I consciously employ women because I want to contribute to an environment where women can build careers, gain confidence and support themselves.

Message for the society:

I want society to stop defining a woman by what she should or should not do after marriage, motherhood or any particular stage of life. A woman can be a wife, mother, professional, entrepreneur and dreamer, all at the same time.

We need to raise girls who believe they are capable and create environments where women are encouraged to work, learn and lead without having to apologise for their ambitions.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

If I become a Queen, I want to use the platform to turn my belief in women’s empowerment into action. I would like to support initiatives that help women develop employable skills, explore entrepreneurship and achieve financial independence.

I also want to use my voice and social platforms to share stories of women who are building their own paths. My long-term vision is to create more employment and mentorship opportunities for women through my business and collaborations, so that empowerment is not just a message—it becomes an opportunity.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I have participated in Mrs India International Queen because I see this platform as an opportunity to grow beyond myself. The crown, for me, is not only about beauty or recognition, it represents responsibility, influence and the ability to inspire.

I want to bring together my professional journey, entrepreneurial experience and passion for women’s empowerment on a larger platform. I hope to represent the modern Indian woman, ambitious yet grounded, independent yet compassionate, and someone who believes that when one woman rises, she can create a path for many others to rise with her.
