Tell us about your family.

I was born and brought up in Mumbai, in a beautiful family with two siblings, an elder brother and a younger sister. I am a mother of two beautiful children. I have one daughter who is 18 years old and one son is 10 years old.

Quotes that keep you going, motivates you:

  • Dreams come true when you decide not to give up.
  • The success of every single woman is the inspiration for another.
  • I like being a strong, independent woman, and to be honest, I was never afraid to be on my own.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

I am a proud daughter of a proud mother. After getting divorced, even under unavoidable circumstances, my mother has raised us very well. She used to sell vegetables and water for earning, she has done whatever small petty work was available to fulfill our needs. She had worked very hard but never said that she was out of money. I have seen her struggle since childhood. Whatever I am today, it’s because of my mother only. She made so capable that today I am standing on my feet.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

A woman can do a lot if she wants. There are a lot of restrictions as I belong to Muslim family. I have learnt a lot from my mother. No one questioned me after my divorce if I was alone. I took care of my children, learned makeup and started my career. A single woman can do anything. She does not need anyone if she believes herself.

Message for Society:

Caste discrimination and practices such as untouchability still exist despite strict laws. There should be no discrimination on the basis of caste. We all are equal.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

I want to stop caste discrimination in the soceity. I want equality in our society. We all stand equally so we all deserve equal rights . No law gives us the right to disrespect anyone.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

It is my dream to be on a prestigious platform to show that even married women can bring magic in her life. It is my dream to walk on the ramp and I am thankful to Mrs India International Queen for believing in me and giving me such an amazing opportunity.
