Tell us about your family.

I’ve a small family, consisting of a son and a daughter.

Quotes that keep you going, motivates you.

  • “You can’t change how people feel about you so don’t try, live your life and be happy.”
  • “I like the people who make me laugh; it’s the thing I like most. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.”

Achievement / anything you are proud of yourself.
Being a typical housewife for 10 years, I had to experience a sudden transition to a professional life 17 years ago. Since then, I have been perfectly executing the role of both mother and father as a single mother of two kids, ensuring that they never feel the lack of a father. The times have been tough, but they have made me stronger.

What is women empowerment according to you?
I’ve always believed that just being a woman is a God’s gift and God never does inequality or unfairness. However, today’s society has evolved where women’s voices are suppressed. And that’s where Women Empowerment plays a role to encourage women worldwide to come out and let their voices be heard. They are just as justified, smart and rightful as men to bring about a change in today’s world and make the world a better place.

Message for the society.

Women are symbols of power, respect them. Stand up ladies and prove yourself that you can do anything, you are not weak; just make a stand, use your power and make a change in society’s mentality about women.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

In my personal opinion I would use it to inspire many girls out there to achieve their goals. If I can do it, then why can’t they? I’ll guide them like a role model. I’ll join an NGO for women since I’m passionate about protecting a girl child mentally, physically as well as emotionally.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I have always been a strong and independent woman in my life, however I could never fulfill my long-standing dream of proving myself. By participating in Mrs India International Queen, I hope to prove myself and fulfill my dream by proudly demonstrating my talents and beauty. With this endeavour, I’d hopefully motivate my fellow single mothers that any of them can fulfill their dream if they wish so, regardless if they are housewives or salaried or both.
