Tell us about your family.
Born to Aeronautical engineer and a Homemaker. Have an elder brother and a younger sister, married to a Software Professional, and blessed with a son aged 25 years who is pursuing a career in Mechatronics in Netherlands and a four-legged daughter named Bonnie.

Achievements/Anything you are proud of yourself:
- I am proud of my resilience, despite experiencing serious professional and personal setbacks, I bounced back to being a good mother, wife, and successful career woman. I have always used disadvantages in my life to evolve into a better human being.
- Started learning Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam after the age of 50, against all odds and have managed to give performances.
- Raised fitness awareness among fellow Pediatricians of South Bangalore by organizing walks.
What is women empowerment according to you?
- A woman is empowered when she can get equal opportunities to pursue her dream and passion and is not affected by the conditionings of the society and she is the decision maker of her destiny.
- A woman is empowered when she takes responsibility for her happiness without waiting for external validations.
- And lastly, a woman is empowered when she can enjoy her success without feeling guilty or apologetic.
How will you give back to the society after becoming a Queen?
- Being in the field of medicine and meeting young patients every day, I will continue to raise the awareness about healthy lifestyle, I plan to conduct school workshops where I plan to instill awareness about healthy eating, importance of regular exercise and sleep and dangers of gadget overuse.
- Cliché as it sounds, these are the challenges faced by youngsters due to peer pressure.

- I feel that Mrs India International Queen is a great platform to showcase one’s talent and fitness.
