MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Susan Thomas
Congratulations Mrs. Susan Thomas from Dubai for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2026! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Susan and here are her amazing answers:
Name: Susan Thomas
Profession: Educationist and Administrator
Qualification: MSc and B.Ed.
Location: Dubai
Strengths: My greatest strength is my ability to evolve with grace while remaining deeply rooted in my values. I’m a compassionate listener and a determined learner. I can connect with people of all ages.
Weakness: I tend to be a perfectionist, especially when I am deeply committed to something. I often spend extra time ensuring everything is done correctly and meaningfully. I am learning to balance this by focusing more on progress and trusting the process.
Likes: I deeply value connecting with people across different age groups, as every interaction offers a new perspective and every life story becomes a source of learning and inspiration.
Dislikes: Negativity and lethargy in people are red flags for me, especially when they discourage people from growing or believing in themselves.
Tell us about your family:
I am blessed with a loving and supportive husband and a wonderful daughter who is my pillar of strength. My grandson has added a beautiful new dimension to my life—I find myself reliving my childhood through him with joy and wonder.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- If you can conceive and believe it then you can achieve it.
- Growth begins where comfort ends, and greatness begins where fear loses its voice.
- Be the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily, even if you had no title or position.
- Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art.
- Keep watering yourself, you are still growing.
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
As an educationist, I have dedicated my career to nurturing students, supporting academic excellence, and building meaningful relationships with parents and the wider school community. After achieving many accolades for my teaching prowess, I gradually transitioned into the administrative sector in the last decade. My work in this new frontier was highly appreciated by the management and strengthened my belief in the importance of communication, empathy, and leadership.
At the age of 50, I learnt to swim. I took part in the maiden 10K cycling event as part of Dubai’s Fitness challenge.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women empowerment is not about proving superiority; it is about freedom—the freedom for every woman to become who she truly is, without fear, guilt, or limitation.
To me, empowerment is also the courage to begin again—after responsibilities, sacrifices, or years of putting others first. A truly empowered woman carries strength with grace, ambition with compassion, and success with humility.
When one woman rises with grace and purpose, she silently gives courage to many others to awaken like a phoenix rising from its ashes.
Message for the society:
Education is the foundation of a progressive and empowered society. It is not only about academic achievement but also about building confidence, nurturing values, and creating opportunities for a better future.
As an educator, I have witnessed firsthand how education transforms lives and enables people to dream bigger and achieve more. I strongly believe that education should be accessible to everyone, especially women and girls in rural areas and from all strata of society.
My message is simple: invest in education, support women’s learning, and create opportunities for every girl to reach her full potential.
When we educate minds, we uplift communities, and when we empower women, we transform generations.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
I will use this platform to help women rediscover themselves after marriage and motherhood. Many women quietly place their dreams on the back burner while nurturing their families. I want to remind them that self-worth and self-growth are not selfish—they are essential.
Through my own journey, I have learned that it is never too late to start again, pursue a passion, build confidence, or embrace who you truly are.
I hope to create awareness programs and motivational sessions that help women rebuild their identity and confidence and become independent and self-reliant.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I never had the opportunity to step onto a platform like Mrs India International Queen earlier—not because I lacked dreams, but because I had to prioritize responsibilities over dreams.
Today, I do not see this as a missed opportunity, but as a powerful new beginning. I have chosen this stage to rediscover myself, to celebrate my journey, and to embrace the woman I have become through every challenge and responsibility I have faced thus far.
I have participated not only to represent myself, but to inspire every woman who once paused her dreams for family or duty—to remind her that it is never too late to return, restart, and rise again with confidence and purpose.
