MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Sharad Mishra

Mrs. Sharad Mishra

Congratulations Mrs. Sharad Mishra from Gujarat for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2026! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Sharad and here are her amazing answers:

Name: Sharad Mishra

Profession: HR Professional

Qualification: MBA (HR), Pursuing Ph.D.

Location: Gujarat

Strengths: If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would say I am determined, ambitious, resilient, and compassionate. Once I commit to something, I don’t give up easily. Challenges motivate me rather than discourage me. I enjoy setting meaningful goals and working patiently towards them. At the same time, I believe success has value only when we can lift others along the way. I naturally empathize with people, which has helped me both personally and professionally in building genuine relationships.

Weakness: I sometimes take on more responsibilities than I should because I genuinely enjoy helping people. There have been times when I’ve focused so much on supporting others that I’ve forgotten to take care of myself. With experience, I’ve learned that setting healthy boundaries is just as important as being available for others.

Likes: I enjoy meaningful conversations, spending time with family, reading about human behaviour and leadership, travelling to new places, trying different cuisines, and finding small moments of peace through music and nature. I also love meeting people from different backgrounds because every conversation teaches me something new.

Dislikes: I dislike disrespect, unnecessary negativity, and people who underestimate others based on appearance, age, or background. I also believe that wasting opportunities and taking relationships for granted are among the biggest losses in life.

Tell us about your family:

I come from a close-knit family that has taught me the importance of love, responsibility, and resilience. I am a single mother of two wonderful boys, and raising them with strong Indian values is my greatest responsibility and pride. I also take care of my elderly father-in-law, a retired Air Force officer, whose discipline, integrity, and dedication continue to inspire our family. Professionally, I work as an HR professional, am pursuing my PhD, and have also taken the initiative to promote AI-based education to help uplift Indian students.

I deeply believe in preserving our rich Indian culture, traditions, and family values, and I try to reflect these principles in both my personal and professional life. My family is my greatest source of strength, motivating me to face every challenge with confidence, compassion, and determination.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:

  • Life doesn’t become easier; you simply become stronger with every challenge.
  • Stay humble when you win and stay hopeful when you lose.
  • Your character will take you places that talent alone never can.
  • The best investment you can make is in becoming a better version of yourself.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

One of my biggest achievements has been building a successful career in Human Resources while continuing my education through a Ph.D. Managing work, studies, and personal responsibilities has taught me discipline and consistency.

More than any title or degree, I am proud that people trust me. Whether it’s a colleague seeking guidance or someone looking for support during a difficult time, being known as a dependable person means a lot to me. I believe earning people’s respect is one of life’s greatest achievements.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

Women empowerment means giving every woman the freedom, confidence, and opportunity to make her own choices without fear or limitations. It is about equal access to education, healthcare, financial independence, leadership opportunities, and respect. True empowerment is not about competing with men; it is about creating an environment where every woman can discover her own potential and live life with dignity and self-respect.

Message for the society:

I believe real change begins with small actions. If we can raise children to value kindness, equality, and respect, we can build a better future for everyone. I want to encourage people to stop judging others based on appearance, age, or background and instead celebrate character, talent, and humanity. A society that supports women also creates stronger families and stronger communities.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

If I earn this title, I want to use it as a responsibility rather than a recognition. I would like to work towards women’s career development, personality enhancement, and confidence-building through mentoring sessions and awareness programs. I also want to support young girls from underprivileged backgrounds by encouraging education, self-belief, and skill development. My goal is to use this platform to inspire others through action, not just words.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

For many years, I was focused on building my career and fulfilling my responsibilities. Mrs India International Queen is something I’ve chosen for myself. It represents a new chapter where I want to celebrate my individuality and encourage other women to believe that it’s never too late to chase a dream.

I am not here simply to compete for a crown. I am here to challenge my own limits, learn from inspiring women, and show that confidence, compassion, and purpose are far more beautiful than perfection. If my journey motivates even one woman to believe in herself again, this experience will already be worth it.
