MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Pragya Bakshi

Mrs. Pragya Bakshi

Congratulations Mrs. Pragya Bakshi from Singapore for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2027! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Pragya and here are her amazing answers:

Name: Pragya Bakshi

Profession: Homemaker

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication

Location: Singapore

Strengths: My biggest strength is my ability to connect with people easily. I make friends quickly and feel comfortable meeting new people. I can also adjust to different situations and environments with a positive attitude. I am a calm person, and even in challenging situations, I try to stay composed, think clearly, and handle things gracefully. I believe being adaptable, calm, and friendly helps me bring out the best in myself and the people around me.

Weakness: I think my weakness is that I sometimes overthink things, especially when I really care about something. I can be a little hard on myself and wonder if I could have done better. But I’m learning to not put too much pressure on myself, trust my decisions, and just enjoy the journey.

Likes: I love travelling, exploring new places, meeting new people, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I also enjoy fashion, beauty, music, and staying active.

Dislikes: I dislike negativity, dishonesty, disrespect, and judging people without knowing their story. I believe everyone deserves kindness and respect. I also dislike giving up when things become difficult. Challenges may test us, but they also give us the opportunity to become stronger, wiser, and more confident.

Tell us about your family:

I come from a loving and supportive family, and my family is my biggest source of strength and inspiration. I am blessed to have my parents, who have always guided me with their love, values, and support. My husband is my partner and my biggest support system, always encouraging me to believe in myself and follow my dreams. My daughter brings immense joy to my life and teaches me every day about patience, love, and unconditional happiness.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:

  • I may bend, but I will never break!
  • I remind myself that even on the days I feel I have lost everything, I still have the strength to begin again!
  • When a woman believes in herself, there is no limit to what she can achieve!
  • Women who cheer for each other create a world where everyone can bloom!
  • True beauty is being comfortable with who you are while becoming the best version of yourself!

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

One of my proudest achievements is how I have been able to build a meaningful life and connect with people in Singapore, even though it is a different country and culture from my own.

I have had the opportunity to participate in Singapore’s National Day Parade (NDP) and Chingay, and having my photograph featured in a local Singapore newspaper was a very special moment for me. I have also been involved in volunteering and community activities, which have helped me understand and appreciate different cultures.

What makes me most proud is not only these achievements, but the relationships I have built along the way. People from different backgrounds, whether Chinese, Malay, Indian, or other cultures, feel comfortable around me because I genuinely respect and accept everyone.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

In my View, women empowerment means giving women the freedom and opportunities to make their own choices and create their own identity. In a patriarchal society, women have sometimes been expected to follow certain roles or limitations simply because they are women. I believe empowerment is about changing that mindset, not by putting anyone down, but by creating equality and mutual respect.

For me, an empowered woman is someone who knows her worth, has the courage to speak for herself, supports other women, and is confident enough to follow her dreams while respecting her own values.

Message for the society:

My message to society is that we should teach people, especially young women and girls, to believe in themselves and their abilities. Beauty is not only about appearance; it is about confidence, kindness, courage, and the way we treat others.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

If I become a Queen, I would like to use my platform to create a positive impact on society, especially by empowering women and children.

I believe every woman should have the confidence to dream, learn, and become financially and emotionally independent. I would like to support initiatives that provide women and young girls with opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, and become self-reliant.

I would also like to spend time with children who may not have the same opportunities as others and contribute through education, mentoring, and community activities.

For me, being a Queen is not just about wearing a crown. It is about using that crown as a responsibility to inspire others, spread kindness, and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I would like my actions to speak louder than the title.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I have participated in Mrs India International Queen because I believe a woman should never stop dreaming, growing, and believing in herself.

For me, this journey is not just about a crown; it is about confidence, self-growth, and inspiring other women. I want to challenge myself, embrace my individuality, and use this platform to make a positive difference.

Because a true Queen is not defined by the crown she wears, but by the impact she creates.

I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for giving me this wonderful opportunity. Thank you Mrs India International Queen for believing in me.
