I take immense pride in my journey from a small town to thriving in the fast-paced world of a metropolitan city. One of my key achievements has been earning a Master’s Degree in Mathematics with Computer Applications, with distinction. What makes this accomplishment particularly significant is that I pursued it during a time when computer education wasn’t widely recognized.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women Empowerment is about creating an environment where women have the freedom, opportunities, and resources to make their own choices and pursue their dreams.

I personally feel that the concept of women empowerment, though increasingly recognized and embraced, often remains concentrated in urban environments where access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities are more readily available. However, this focus on urban areas can unintentionally neglect the women in rural regions, where traditional gender roles and limited resources create additional challenges to empowerment.

In rural areas, women often face a unique set of barriers that hinder their progress. These include limited access to education, restricted job opportunities, inadequate healthcare, and a lack of infrastructure that supports their growth.

Moreover, cultural norms in many rural communities often place women in subordinate roles, limiting their ability to participate fully in the economic, social, and political life of their communities.

Therefore, it is imperative for us to shift our focus and prioritize the empowerment of women in rural areas. One of the most effective ways to do this is by making them financially independent and self-reliant.

Message for the society:
As a participant in Mrs India International Queen, I proudly represent my hometown of Jhansi, a place renowned for the bravery and courage of Rani Lakshmi Bai. Her fearless stand during India’s fight for independence continues to inspire women across generations. She wasn’t just a warrior; she was a symbol of strength, resilience, and leadership, breaking societal barriers in an era where women’s voices were often silenced.

Today, women empowerment has become more crucial than ever. As a woman, and a representative of this prestigious platform, I want to raise awareness about the importance of empowering women in all areas of life—whether it’s education, career, or the freedom to make their own choices.

True empowerment begins when we start recognizing women for their strength and potential, beyond the limitations of traditional roles. If we foster an environment where women can lead, contribute, and thrive without barriers, we are not only uplifting them but the entire society. By promoting equality and encouraging girls and women to pursue their dreams, we will be able to move closer to building a more just and equal world.

This is the change I aspire to bring—a society where women are empowered, celebrated, and given the freedom to live life on their own terms. When women rise, we all rise together.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
Despite significant progress, much work remains to be done to achieve true gender equality. Disparities persist in areas such as access to education, and healthcare, particularly in rural areas. Gender-based violence and discrimination continue to affect millions worldwide, while outdated stereotypes often limit opportunities for individuals based on their gender. To build a more just and equitable society, I will make people more aware and educate them of these inequalities, advocate for policy changes, and foster environments where everyone—regardless of gender—has equal opportunities to thrive.

Since I am also interested in hand crafted clothing and products, I aspire to support local artisans and craftsmen in remote places of India and give them a platform to showcase their skills.

Whether it’s the delicate weaving of a handloom sari, the art of block printing, or the creation of hand-embroidered garments, these crafts are an integral part of India’s cultural heritage. Yet, many artisans struggle to find markets for their work, often overshadowed by mass-produced goods.

I aim to connect them with modern consumers, bridging the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary fashion trends. This not only preserves their artistry but also provides them with sustainable livelihoods. By supporting these artisans, I hope to contribute to the revival of ancient techniques, empower local communities, and promote a more ethical and conscious fashion industry.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
Participating in Mrs India International Queen is a natural extension of my childhood dream of pursuing something in fashion. Ever since I was young, I’ve been passionate about style, elegance, and the transformative power of fashion but didn’t get the opportunity to express it. This pageant offers a platform to express that passion on a grand stage. It’s not just about showcasing beauty, but also about embracing individuality, creativity, and confidence—all of which are central to the world of fashion. Through this experience, I aim to inspire others to chase their dreams, no matter when or where they start.
