Tell us about your family:
I am originally from Kerala and come from a loving and grounded family. My father worked in Dubai, and my mother is a homemaker who has always been the strength of our home. I share a close bond with my sister.
Today, I live with my husband, who is a software professional, and my son, who is in Grade 7. They are my biggest source of love, strength, and motivation. My in-laws are also an important part of my life and have been very supportive in my journey.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- The most beautiful things you can wear are your self-confidence and your self-love.
- You define your own life. Don’t let other people write your script.
- One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
Artistically, my biggest achievement has been getting the opportunity to sing at many prestigious shows and perform alongside renowned playback singers since my childhood. I continue to pursue my passion and regularly perform at various stages.
Personally, my greatest achievement is believing in myself, following my passion, and creating an identity of my own while maintaining balance between my dreams and my responsibilities towards my family.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
For me, women empowerment begins at home. Every girl child should be encouraged by her family to speak up for herself and stand against what is wrong without fear or guilt. Gender should never be a limitation in achieving anything in life. Women should be raised with the belief that they are equal to anyone else and supported to pursue their dreams with confidence. True empowerment is when a woman is given the freedom and opportunity to become her best self and believes that her voice, choices, and ambitions truly matter.
Message for the society:
I strongly stand against female infanticide. It is important to change the mindset that only a boy can carry forward a family name or legacy. Every child, regardless of gender, is equally valuable and capable of building the future of a family and society.
Another important issue I want to highlight is the need for better sanitation and hygiene facilities for women in India. Access to clean, safe, and sufficient toilets is not a privilege, it is a basic necessity and a matter of dignity and health. Improving these facilities, especially in public spaces and rural areas, is essential for women’s safety and empowerment.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
If I am crowned as a Queen, I would use my voice and platform to give back to society by focusing on women empowerment and child welfare. I strongly believe change begins at home, so I would work towards spreading awareness that every girl child deserves to be raised with confidence, dignity, and equal opportunities, and encouraged to speak up for herself without fear.
I would also support better sanitation and hygiene facilities for women in public spaces and rural areas, as these are essential for health, safety, and dignity. Along with this, I would continue to stand against harmful practices like female infanticide and promote the belief that every child is equally valuable.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I want to join the Mrs India International Queen to inspire homemakers and young women to believe that it is never too late to follow their passion, and that they should never feel guilty for choosing themselves or pursuing their dreams.
At the same time, this journey is also a personal step for me to grow in confidence, challenge myself, and evolve into a stronger and more self-assured version of who I am. I also want to use this platform to help change mindsets in society, especially around the value of the girl child, and promote the belief that every child is equally important and deserving of love and opportunity.
