MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Kritika Kalra

Congratulations Mrs. Kritika Kalra from Delhi for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2025! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Kritika Kalra and here are her amazing answers:
Name: Kritika Kalra
Profession: Program Manager & Consultant
Qualification: Bachelor’s & Mater’s in Mechanical Engineering, MBA
Location: Delhi
Strengths: I’m a multitasker who juggles multiple things at work and at home, always making sure everything runs smoothly. When it comes to people management, I try to connect with my team and clients on a personal level, building trust and making them feel comfortable. I believe in leading with kindness and compassion, making sure everyone feels valued and supported.
Weakness: One of my weaknesses is that I can be a perfectionist, sometimes getting caught up in making everything just right, which can slow me down or add unnecessary pressure. I also tend to take on too many responsibilities, as I like to ensure things are done well, which can stretch me thin at times. This sometimes leads to a reluctance to delegate, as I find it hard to let go of tasks, preferring to manage them myself. While I’m aware of these tendencies, I continuously work on finding a balance and trusting others more to share the load.
Likes: Travel, Workout and Great food.
Dislikes: Disorganization, lack of empathy and closed-mindedness.

- Goodness is the only investment that never fails.
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself?
Reflecting on my journey, I take immense pride in being the recipient of Eaton’s Women in Engineering Award in 2021, where I was recognized as the only woman in Asia for this honor.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I founded an initiative called MedNeed India, which aimed to connect people who had surplus medicines with those who urgently needed them. Through this initiative, we successfully donated over 500 kilograms of medicines to different parts of the country, ensuring access to critical medication during a time of crisis.
As a woman leader, I have had the opportunity to lead teams and projects that have added significant value to the growth of the organizations I’ve been part of. Leading with resilience and purpose, I’ve contributed not just to business success but also to creating a more inclusive and empowered work environment.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women don’t need empowerment—because to me, women are already the most powerful beings that God has created. The only reason women have faced challenges in reaching their full potential is due to societal barriers that were placed in their way. But history has shown us that when a woman decides to rise, nothing can stop her.
Women like Rani Lakshmibai, who led an army against the British, Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life to serving humanity, Kalpana Chawla, who soared beyond the skies, Marie Curie, the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in science, and Indira Gandhi, India’s first female Prime Minister, have paved the way for others to follow.
For me, women empowerment is not about making women equal to men—because when I last checked, women are already masters of all. Women don’t need to be empowered; they need to be given the space and direction to rise to their full potential. They are leaders, nurturers, and warriors all in one, often taking a step back to make sacrifices for their families—but that sacrifice is a choice, not a limitation.
True women empowerment is about creating opportunities, uplifting each other, and ensuring that no woman is held back by outdated societal norms. We all have the power within us—it’s just a matter of embracing it and paving the way for others to do the same.
Message for the society.
In the words of Sushmita Sen, “Just being a woman is a gift of God that all of us must appreciate.”
Investing in oneself is paramount. Education and financial independence are not mere milestones but essential tools for shaping our destinies. However, beyond personal achievements, it’s crucial to cultivate inner beauty through kindness and integrity.
Our actions may define us in the eyes of others, but our intentions hold the true essence of our character. As the saying goes, “Man judges a person by actions, but God judges by intention.”
Let us strive not only for personal success but also to uplift those around us, creating a ripple effect of positive change in society.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
Till now, whatever I could do for society, I did it behind the curtains—with my own will and limited resources. Whether it was MedNeed India, donation drives, or mentoring young professionals, I have always believed in taking action rather than just talking about change. But through this platform, I will have the opportunity to reach the masses and create an even bigger impact.
As a Queen, I want to promote the importance of education and financial literacy for young women. I strongly believe that when a woman is educated and financially independent, she is unstoppable. I want to mentor and guide women, helping them break free from financial dependency and societal limitations.
My journey as a leader has taught me that empowerment comes from giving people the right tools, knowledge, and opportunities. I have led teams, managed large-scale projects, and been part of transformational initiatives that have created real impact. I want to use my experience to help women step into leadership roles, make informed decisions, and take charge of their own futures.
Women don’t need to be empowered—they already have immense power within them. They just need the right environment and support to rise. I want to be a part of creating that support system, whether through mentorship programs, awareness campaigns, or direct initiatives that uplift women.
This platform gives me the voice and reach to make a difference on a much larger scale. And I intend to use it to the fullest.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I have participated in Mrs. India International Queen because I believe in the power of leading by example. Throughout my journey, I have worked behind the scenes—whether it was through MedNeed India, donation drives, mentoring young professionals, or driving impactful projects. But this platform gives me the opportunity to reach a larger audience, inspire more women, and create meaningful change on a greater scale.
For me, true empowerment is about investing in oneself—educating, growing, and striving for financial independence while staying kind and compassionate. Women don’t need to be made equal to men; they already have unique strengths. What they need is the confidence and opportunity to rise.
This platform is more than just a crown—it’s a voice. A voice to break stereotypes, challenge limitations, and show women that they can be leaders, changemakers, and visionaries. I want to use this opportunity to uplift others, not just through words but through real actions that create a lasting impact.
