Tell us about your family:

I’m Karuna Nair. I am proud to be a wife to my supportive husband, Vinod Nair, and a mother of two. My family is my greatest motivation, and through my work with the Samsara Women’s Shakti Charitable Trust, I aim to show my children that one person’s dedication can create real transformation. I am thrilled to be here, carrying my family’s values of compassion, resilience, and service onto this stage.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:

  • Educate, Agitate, Organize.
  • Heal the individual, empower the woman, and elevate the world
  • Small acts create a profound impact

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

Healing & Life-Saving Intervention: With 15 years of experience as a hypnotherapist and Reiki practitioner, I have moved beyond healing practices to provide life-saving support for individuals in crisis.

Empowering the Next Generation: I have successfully guided students through high-pressure academic periods, helping them achieve excellence in their board exams by unlocking their latent potential.

I have mobilized resources and community support through dedicated donation drives (including my recent initiative on April 14, 2026), educational workshops, and advocacy programs. My work focuses on creating sustainable pathways toward economic independence for those I serve.

Participating in the Mrs India International Queen pageant is a major achievement for me, as it allows me to bring greater visibility to my mission of empowerment. My life is driven by the belief that true fulfillment comes from service, as Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: ‘The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

Shakti is the internal engine, while empowerment is the fuel and the open road. When these two align, it creates a ripple effect that changes not just one life, but entire communities.

Message for the society:

When you empower one person, you light a path for a thousand more. Let us stop asking ‘how can I succeed?’ and start asking ‘how can I be useful?’—because a society that serves with compassion is the only one that truly prospers.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

Winning this title is not an end; it is a catalyst for the next phase of my service. I will use this platform to amplify the Samsara Women’s Shakti Charitable Trust, transitioning our efforts from localized initiatives to national, sustainable programs for education and healthcare. My goal is to use this crown to serve, to lead, and to ensure that my impact outlives my time on this stage.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I have participated in the Mrs India International Queen pageant because it is a powerful platform that will help me turn my mission into a global movement, while also giving me the space to explore and grow into the best version of myself.
