Tell us about your family:

I was born in a family of hoteliers. I had developed the love for my land because of the vast exposure to my country`s culture, heritage and diversity.

Got married to a marine officer, who had swept me off my feet in our first meeting. I have always been proud of his professional achievements and the way he loves us all. I am extremely proud that my husband`s grandfather was a Padma Shri. He had received it in the field of education while serving as the principal of Scindhia school boys, Gwalior, from Dr. Radhakrishnan ji, the then president of India.

I am the mother of two computer science engineers, both have been scholars at the school level and had bagged great colleges here in India. I adore their love for their nation.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:

  • Don’t follow the crowd, let the crowd follow you.
  • Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.
  • Black, brown, white, yellow-why are we always talking about colours? I am a girl, I believe in a global community
  • Let your life lightly dance on the edges of time like dew on the tip of a leaf.
  • Zindagi na milegi dobara, aaj jee lo jee bhar ke
  • You don’t have to everyone`s favourite, just be your own sunshine
  • The most beautiful thing a woman can wear is confidence

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

I am really proud of myself because I have never ceased to be my own sunshine.

Society`s pressure could never tumble my throne!

Overcoming the breathing challenges faced by me, the after-effects of COVID where my lungs had got damaged by 75% and my brain had experienced brain fog, I decided to take up singing in order to heal my lungs and my brain cells, more beautifully and to live longer. Life thereafter has become a musical journey.

Raising my children single-handedly because having married a marine officer, who would be at sea for most part of the year, I had to fight all my day-to-day challenges, my social and emotional battles alone and yet had to wear the smile at all times.

I feel that my achievement has been to see them grow into healthy, wise intelligent, confident children. They don`t fear challenges either, and they take the world in their stride.

Instead of breaking under pressure I became extremely strong & confident.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

As India sets its eyes on becoming a developed nation by 2047, empowerment lies at the heart of this challenge.

The ongoing gender disparity needs to be completely overcome.

Women empowerment must begin at home, and has to initiated by every mom. she has to become a role model for her daughter and her daughter-in-law and also for other women in her household.

The Government can pass, bills, norms and laws. However, accepting atrocity and being subjected to accepting self as a lower gender in itself is a defeat, that’s needs to be completely stopped.

Women need to be there for each other, in order to strengthen their identity in the society.

Education, livelihood, equal participation of women in every aspect is really important.

In a world where you can be anything, be bold, be brave, rise and shine.

Message for the society:

Being educated is an attitude and it’s not just about qualifications.

Society really needs to behave educated at all times. Empathy is the key to healthy co-existence.

Also, for every human being, it’s really important to preserve and nurture mother earth. It’s our home and we have huge responsibility towards it as Homo sapiens.

It’s very important that wars must end, they do no good to anyone. Sense should always prevail above ego, in all the hemispheres.

We should never forget our roots, our value system and the goals of the society.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

I will work to raise awareness in society about women`s safety and empowerment through my social connections. I will also aim to inspire and support girls, especially from rural India, So that they can achieve their full potential.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I have participated in order to win the crown!

Participating in Mrs India International Queen contest gave me another chance to raise my confidence, express my beliefs and work for community betterment by setting an example to other women.

To show the world that confidence, empathy and honesty charms the world more than anything else.
