Tell us about your family:
I am happily married and having an 8 years old Son. My husband is working as a Senior Manager with an MNC.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
• The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself?
During school farewell I was awarded as Miss Farewell.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?
In my opinion, Women are backbone of society and play very important role inside family. I believe if women are involved in decision making within the family and entrusted with greater responsibilities (within society and country) we can bring about women empowerment in a real sense.

Message for the society:
Woman should deepen her roots and extend branches. By deepening roots, I mean to connect more deeply with Indian culture and pass it on to the new generation. And by extending branches I mean to be open for every new opportunity and challenge, be it like going to space like Kalpana Chawla or holding very prestigious position like being President of the country e.g. President Murmu.

I would like to bring peace in the society and in the whole world. I think, it has become need of hour now and it starts from us first. As Father of the Nation famously said, you should be the change you want to see in the world.

We need to be calm, peaceful and composed and then act. Unfortunately, people have opposite approach in day-to-day life. People don’t act; they react, which in my opinion can never bring peace in real sense. Being able to act can help you take right decisions with peaceful mind. While reacting can never assure peace anywhere, be it in family or outside because decisions taken in reaction come out of emotions like anger etc.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
I want to live for a greater cause and will try my best to contribute towards women empowerment initiatives in all possible ways. I would reach out to the people living in slums and make them aware of power of woman and her importance not just with in family but within society also.

I would encourage kids especially, girl child to go to school and get educated. And after completing education, get a job and be self-dependent. Once they start earning, they should give back to society in which ever way they can. Examples could be –

• Going to the slums and contributing towards their wellbeing.
• Creating awareness about hygiene.
• Creating awareness about getting educated and thereby contributing towards development of nation.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
As mentioned earlier, I have passed out from Frankfinn Aviation Institute and worked as an Air Hostess for Qatar Airways. It has always been my dream to participate in a beauty pageant and get recognition at a greater level. This will open many more doorways for me and provide more opportunities which will ultimately help me in fulfilling some needs like buying own house and making monetary contribution towards some NGOs who work for women empowerment.

I myself will also visit nearby slums and organize camps like female health and hygiene etc. Besides, I would love to sponsor a girl child education until she becomes self-dependent.
