Tell us about your family:
We are a lively family of four. My husband is a successful startup owner, running Furnishka, a furniture store chain with 12 locations in the city. He has also been involved in several other successful ventures.
I am a mompreneur, managing my handmade jewellery business from home, and I’m deeply passionate about dance. I’m a hands-on mother to our two little ones – my son is a puzzle-solving whiz with an excellent memory, and my daughter is our little drama Queen with a flair for expressions. That’s us in a nutshell.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- Seeing results from my hard work motivates me to push further.
- Trying new yoga stretches, exploring different instruments, and pushing my limits keeps me motivate.
- Learning from my kids – that’s the best inspiration. They teach me to stay curious and keep growing.
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
- I’m proud of my academic achievements – I was the only A+ grade holder in our city for my intermediate exams.
- In college, I excelled in drama, securing the first runner-up position in an inter-college competition for my work in shadow art.
- Professionally, I’m a healer with a growing client base and zero negative feedback – that’s a win in my book.
- I was crowned Second Runner-Up in the Bangalore Queen competition.
- I’m thrilled to share that I’ve created a one-of-a-kind Paithani-inspired fabric jewellery collection, inspired by the majestic peacock motif of the traditional Maharashtrian Paithani saree. To my knowledge, I’m the only one in Bangalore who’s brought this unique art form into jewellery, and I’m proud of it.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women empowerment is about giving women the freedom to make their own choices, ensuring equal opportunities, and treating them with dignity and respect. It’s about creating a society where women can pursue their dreams, express their thoughts freely, and live without fear of discrimination or violence.
Message for the society:
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
- Plant more trees, and keep our surroundings clean. Small actions today lead to a greener tomorrow. Stop pollution.
- Always carry a cloth or paper bag to the market.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
- If I win, I will spread awareness about reducing plastic waste by promoting reusable alternatives like steel or paper plates. I have also partnered with Swakruta Family to support eco-friendly cutlery options.
- I will encourage people to donate gently used clothes and toys to charities, and highlight organizations that support women’s education, health, and economic empowerment. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I have participated in Mrs India International Queen because it’s a lifelong dream of mine. This platform will push me to grow, improve and showcase my talents. When you set your sights on something, you are motivated to work hard and achieve it —and I strongly believe in putting in consistent effort. I am excited to share my passions and qualities with the world, and I believe this pageant is the perfect stage to do so.
