Profession: Homemaker

Qualification: Graduate, D.El.Ed

Location: Bakalia, Karbi Anglong Assam

Strengths: Keeping my inner spirit alive, willpower, positive attitude and my child.

Weakness: Too available and sympathetic.

Likes: Travelling, connecting with nature, being productive and singing

Dislikes: Unsupportive, person who lack emotional maturity and taking people for granted.

Tell us about your family.

My father is a retired government officer who supports me wholeheartedly, my mother, my role model, is an Anganwadi worker and my younger sister, my best friend is a government teacher. I am married to a very humble, loving and kind man. My father-in-law is a retired government teacher and my mother-in-law is a housewife, the kindest and sweetest person I’ve ever known. I have a five-year-old son, a true gentleman.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself?

Winning the title of Miss Karbi Anglong 2015 and passing three competitive exam in a year.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

Women empowerment for me is a responsibility to be set by women to raise a child teaching humanity, respect and mentally healthy because I believe everything starts from home. Let’s raise a gentleman so that there would be no laws required fighting for gender discrimination and inequality for generations to come. 

Message for the society.

Be kind, love and be loved. Let’s support each other and stand for humanity.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

After becoming a queen, I would love to give back and support society what I have achieved all through the way to becoming a queen. I would love to work with an NGO supporting women who is economically deprived and donate as much as possible in an old age home.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

To proof myself that I can do my absolute best and represent India to the world in the near future and also for my community to inspire and empower.
