I was awarded with best National level poster during my MD days. I have recently received a national level silver award in my specialty.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
According to me, women empowerment is not a one-day process. It should start since the time a girl child is born. She should be taught to become independent physically, mentally, and very important, financially. She should be empowered with right to make her life decisions, not only by her parents but also by her in-laws. For this, proper teachings should be given to the male counterpart since their childhood, so that they can learn to respect and provide equal opportunities in every aspect of life to their female colleagues.
Message for the society.
A very important change which has made a special place in my heart since my childhood is to work for the benefit and progress of the females of our country.
To fight against female feticide, dowry system, gender inequalities, poor girl child nutrition, and education, which is still common, in many parts of our country. The worst among all, is the dowry system, because of which parents are hesitant or scared to give birth to a girl child. I want to fight to remove all this from our country.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
After becoming a Queen, as the theme goes for this contest for women empowerment, I would like to work for the benefit and progress of the women of our country, especially the girl child, so that “beti padhegi toh hi aage badhegi”
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
Since my childhood, I was very much attracted to the world of glamor and fashion, but somehow, I could not fulfill that. Since, now I have fulfilled my dream of becoming a doctor, and also before I grow older and diseases surround me, I want to fulfill this dream, because I want die with sweet memories, not with my dreams. Seeing that Mrs India International Queen focuses mainly on women empowerment, all the more I wanted to participate in this contest.
