Name: Dr. Ravikanta Negi
Profession: Doctor (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon)
Qualification: Post graduate
Location: Himachal Pradesh
Strengths: I believe my biggest strength is my dedication to my goals. Apart from this, my willingness to step out of my comfort zone and learn, my kindness towards others and resilience to overcome challenges are strengths that help me grow.
Weakness: I can be impatient and prone to stress.
Likes: I like being with my loved ones, learning new things, gardening and enjoying basketball.
Dislikes: I do not appreciate dishonesty, unnecessary nagging and oversmart behaviour. 

Tell us about your family:

I got married last year to a wonderful husband who is also a doctor. I have one younger brother and one younger sister. Both my family and my in-laws are joint families, which I consider is a blessing.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

My 14-year journey to become what I’m today professionally, fulfilling a dream built on hard work and passion.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

It’s about supporting each other in every aspect of life, whether its personal, professional, social. Enabling women from the very beginning of their life to make their own decision, building confident women and breaking stereotypes so that not only this but a series of generation get inspired.

Message for the society:

Have the courage to change what is unfair, to uplift those who are unheard and to always lead with kindness. 

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

As a QUEEN, I would use my platform to collaborate with the community organizations to support women’s empowerment, improve access to education, overall health and inspire others to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with confidence.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I participated in Mrs India International Queen to step out of my comfort zone and celebrate womanhood. It’s a platform with a purpose, where I can support good causes, inspire other women, and show that marriage doesn’t stop you from following your dreams.
