Tell us about your family:

One of the most pampered children among 5 siblings. Having said that, there are 2 younger brothers to me and 2 elder sisters. Mother is a home maker and father is a retired govt. Engineer (Assistant Engineer), who fulfilled our dreams sacrificing their own. Born in a liberal family. My mother is simple with heart of gold. Always taught us to be genuine and know the difference between right and wrong. My father is the strongest pillar of our family who has always taught us to be hopeful even when we are at our worst and keep moving ahead. My siblings are loving and caring towards each other.

My other half family, includes my loving and caring husband, my supportive mother-in-law, and brother-in-law. My mother-in-law has been extremely supportive and caring throughout. She is the strongest lady I have ever come across. She believes in social service and is loved by everyone. My husband has been my motivation to keep moving ahead. He is my biggest critic as well as my big-time supporter. My brother-in-law is someone who always knows how to be lively and keep people happy.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:

  • Where there is a will, there is a way.
  • Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder.
  • Keep your face always towards the sunshine and shadow will fall behind you.
  • A winner is a dreamer who never gives up.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

One of the biggest achievements is getting my MBBS degree, as I was once been told that I am not even worth being an arts student (no offence to arts student). My hardship paid off.

Another achievement is finding a life partner who is so understanding, supportive and caring. All thanks to my family.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

Women empowerment according to me is to have the freedom to be able to make decisions.

To be able to access knowledge with ease.

Women empowerment allows the women to give contributions to the society in whatever manner they are able to.

It also includes breaking the old societal norm of gender roles that limits women potential.

It means to me acquiring self-confidence and motivate many other women to empower them as well.

Message for the society:

Humanity has been slowly fading away nowadays from society. Ego has taken over humbleness. Every human is running a rat race just to pull each other down. I would urge society to start valuing each and every living being. Kindness is so much needed to make this place a better one. People must practice compassion. I believe kindness, compassion and humbleness can make our society a beautiful place to live in.

Also, I would like to highlight mental health, which is so much important, as the number of suicides has been increasing day by day, with the foremost cause being depression. Let’s build a society where one can feel free to talk about their issues with others and understand that depression and mental health are serious matters.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

In this modern era, social media holds an important place where any message can be delivered to a large number of people and through this, I intend to raise awareness on topics such as education, cleanliness, poverty, prevention and early signs of diseases.

I would associate myself with NGOs that supports orphans, old age people, homeless people and would raise funds, thereby contributing them to their betterment.

I plan to participate in public engagement, mentorship programs, awareness driving campaigns, raising awareness on sensitive topics such as mental health, bullying and climate change.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

As a child watching beauty pageant used to fascinate me a lot. I dreamt of participating someday and experience it once in my lifetime. I wanted to overcome my fear of being noticed and Mrs India International Queen is the perfect platform where I think my excitement would definitely dominate my fear. This opportunity will enhance both my inner and outer personality. It will give me many different opportunities in the future. Above all, I want to make my family proud of me and my achievements.
