Name: Dr. Apra Attri
Profession: Gynaecologist
Qualification: MBBS, MD, DNB Gynae

Likes: Swimming, Reading- both academics and non-academics, singing and dancing
Dislikes: Unwillingness to work on oneself
Tell us about your family:
Married the love of my life, my MBBS batchmate 2 years back. Have a beautiful 1 year old daughter who is growing everyday into a delightful little girl. Have an amazing family support system on both my side and my in-laws.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- If we wait for the moment when everything is ready, we shall never begin.
- If four things are followed – having a great aim, acquiring knowledge, hard work, and perseverance – then anything can be achieved.
- If you educate a man, you educate an individual. If you educate a woman, you educate a nation.
- Keep your face towards the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
I am proud to be a mother to a beautiful daughter who reminds me that the choices I make today will shape the world she grows up in.
I am proud of being a gynaecologist and making a difference in my patient’s life.
I have dared to dream, dared to act, and dared to show that a woman’s place is wherever she chooses it to be—be it an operation theatre, a home, or a stage.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women empowerment means giving women the freedom and opportunities to live life on their own terms—whether it’s in education, career, health, or personal choices. It’s not just about equality; it’s about equity, dignity, and having a voice that is heard and respected.
Message for the society:
Support women not only when they rise but also when they struggle. A progressive society is one that nurtures its daughters with education, respects its mothers with dignity, and stands with every woman in her journey.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
I will give back by simply being visible—by showing that a woman can wear a crown, hold a scalpel, raise a child, and still dream big. Because representation matters, and if I can inspire even one girl to believe in herself, I will consider it my greatest victory.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I am participating in Mrs India International Queen beauty pageant to celebrate the multidimensional identity of modern women. As a doctor, a wife, a mother, and now a pageant contestant, I want to inspire others to break out of societal boxes.
