Tell us about your family:
I have a small family consisting of my husband, two sons, and one daughter-in-law. Both my sons work in the IT industry, and my husband is a retired officer. I live in Pune with my husband, while both my sons and one daughter-in-law live in Bangalore.
My younger son helps me with everything and has taught me so much. My family has always been very supportive of me. My family is my greatest strength.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- If you believe you can achieve something, success will follow. All you need is passion and dedication towards your work!
- Small efforts today can lead to great achievements tomorrow!
- The path of truth is always difficult, but it ultimately leads to meaningful achievements in life!
- Dream big, but remember that turning your dreams into reality requires dedication, hard work, and perseverance day and night!
- A positive mindset helps us move forward, overcome challenges, and achieve success in life!
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
On 15 March 2025, I suffered a leg fracture and underwent two surgeries. During the surgeries, the nerves in my leg were completely damaged, and I was unable to walk. I had to use a wheelchair and needed support because of balance problems caused by the nerve damage.
However, my positive attitude and determination helped me overcome these challenges. My only passion was to walk again and dance. I worked very hard to achieve my goal, and today, despite the 100% nerve damage, I am able to walk properly.
I believe that my positive thinking and determination made this possible. My family has always supported me throughout this journey, and I am grateful to them for standing by my side.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women should be given equal respect and status in society and within their families. They should be encouraged to participate in politics, contest elections, and take on leadership roles.
Educating women is essential because an educated woman can make her family and the nation more educated and empowered.
Women should be financially independent, have access to development opportunities, and be encouraged to pursue jobs or start their own businesses. When women earn their own money, they gain greater independence and the confidence to make their own decisions.
Women should also be encouraged to develop self-confidence so that they can face life’s challenges independently and with courage.
Message for the society:
I would like to give a message to all women: Step out of your homes and explore the world outside. By stepping out, you will gain confidence and learn new things.
Women should take responsibility for household and outdoor tasks and learn to do things independently. They should make their own decisions rather than depending on their husbands for every small or big task.
Women in our country should learn to think independently and strive to do something meaningful for themselves and for society.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
- I would visit schools to support the education of underprivileged children and provide books and other necessary assistance to those who need them.
- I would encourage women who stay at home to start their own businesses and become financially independent.
- I would love to help people living in old-age homes and orphanages. I would like to organize an annual trip for them so they can explore the outside world, as they often have limited opportunities to go out and experience new things.
- I would like to help poor people standing outside hospitals who cannot afford medical treatment. I would try to provide them with medicines, access to doctors, and the medical support they need.
- I would also help elderly people living in my neighbourhood.
- First and foremost, I would help my domestic worker and support her children’s education so they can have a better future.
