  • To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan but also believe.
  • Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.
  • Your talent determines what you can do.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

I am known in the overseas education industry for helping students secure visas successfully. When a student comes to me for counselling, my only aim is to help them reach their dream study destination. My achievement lies in my students’ success.

My personal achievements lie in day-to-day life, teaching the correct attitude to the kids, drawing lines with silence at times or even being vocal and staying with dignity at my in-laws’ place. It didn’t come easily but with time.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

Talking about an empowered woman, I feel just being educated and financially independent is not enough. It’s very important to learn life skills as a woman. It means having a stand-alone spirit, defining and drawing your lines in front of others, not compromising on your self-respect and dignity and learning that your happiness is not dependent upon anyone. Listening to your inner voice and standing by it, understanding that we are the base of our families and our societies, we are responsible for the kind of men we will raise. So, I strongly believe a real Queen is a woman who uplifts herself and helps and encourages other women also to do the same.

Message for the society:

I would like to talk about the mental health of a woman. Nobody really puts a thought on it. Psychological well-being is heavily shaped by lived realities. It includes gender-biased violence, caregiving responsibilities and societal stigmas. These challenges do affect the mental health of women. The sad part is that women are not even aware at times that all these issues impact their mental health. It’s high time that the families realize that a happy woman leads to happy families because we women are the base of the families and societies at large. Also, the women should themselves realize their value and importance. A woman should know how to stand up for herself, whether at the workplace or within the family, she should know how to define her boundaries. Remember that your kids see you, evaluate you and learn from you first. A mother is the first teacher of a child, so be the best teacher who can raise beautiful and secure adults for this world.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

I would really like to take up the responsibility for encouraging a lot of women to go for their regular mental health check-ups, encouraging counselling, making women aware of the relevance and importance of counselling sessions. I would also encourage women to engage in some form of physical activity, whether it is a walk, yoga, or meditation. Take good care of their overall health and most importantly, stay happy. Always remember that you are irreplaceable. So, inculcate self-love.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I did have a dream to either be an Air Force pilot or walk on the ramp and participate in a beauty pageant. It took me 20 years to listen to my inner voice and finally go ahead with what truly makes me happy. We have only one life and I don’t want to have any regrets in my old age.
