MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Dhanashri Joshi-Deshmukh
Congratulations Mrs. Dhanashri Joshi-Deshmukh from Delhi for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2026! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Dhanashri and here are her amazing answers:
Name: Dhanashri Joshi-Deshmukh
Profession: CA and Financial Consultant
Qualification: CA, Lawyer, DISA, FAFD, M.Com. and Life Coach
Location: Delhi
Strengths: I am a multitasking achiever who balances my roles as a Chartered Accountant, lawyer, entrepreneur, wife and mother with commitment and grace. My experience as a life coach and trainer has made me a confident communicator who can inspire and connect with people on stage. As a Kathak dancer and lover of home decoration, I bring creativity, elegance and a strong stage presence. I carry a resilient, positive mindset and believe marriage and motherhood are the start of a more powerful chapter for every woman.
Weakness: Because I am passionate about many things, I sometimes overcommit and feel overwhelmed. I am a perfectionist and tend to spend extra time trying to make everything flawless, which I am learning to balance. As a working mother and entrepreneur, I occasionally neglect my own rest and self‑care. I am consciously working on prioritising, delegating and setting boundaries so I can use my energy more effectively.
Likes: I like learning and growing constantly, whether through my work as a finance and legal professional or through self‑development programs. I love dancing, especially Kathak, because it helps me express my emotions. I enjoy decorating my home and creating warm, beautiful spaces for my family and guests. I like helping other women gain confidence, financial awareness and independence through guidance and mentorship. I also like travelling and exploring new cultures, which keeps me open‑minded.
Dislikes: I dislike negativity and gossip because they drain energy and do not add any value to life. I do not like when women underestimate themselves or feel forced to give up their dreams after marriage or motherhood. I dislike unfair judgement based only on appearance and believe true beauty includes character, courage and compassion. I do not enjoy laziness or a lack of responsibility, especially when people blame others instead of taking charge of their lives. I also dislike clutter—whether in my surroundings or in my mind—so I try to keep my space and thoughts organised and peaceful. Also, I dislike flaunting nature.
Tell us about your family:
I come from a humble yet progressive family rooted in Nandgaon, a small town near Nashik. As the middle of three sisters, I was raised with values of education, hard work, and independence. My father is a real estate developer, and my mother is a devoted homemaker whose quiet resilience has been my greatest inspiration. Thanks to my parents’ forward-thinking approach, all three sisters pursued higher studies on merit and scholarships and are today carving successful paths in different parts of the world.
Soon after completing my CA, I entered into an arranged marriage with Saurabh, a fellow Chartered Accountant and career bureaucrat. At my in-laws’ home, I received immense warmth — my father-in-law is a retired government officer, my mother-in-law is a beautician, along with a CA brother-in-law and sister-in-law. In December 2023, our lives were blessed with our precious daughter, Trivi, who has become the heartbeat of our family.
Drawing from my own journey of balancing career and family, I founded Swadeshri Advisory Pvt Ltd, where I now mentor women entrepreneurs to build thriving businesses while maintaining harmony in their personal lives.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- You are the architect of your own life.
- A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.
- You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing
- You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
- The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
I am deeply proud of my journey from a small-town girl from Nandgaon, Nashik to becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant with additional credentials in LLB, DISA, FAFD, and M.Com. Clearing CA at a young age while managing academics was a milestone that taught me the power of discipline and perseverance.
On the professional front, I take pride in establishing myself as a practising Chartered Accountant, women entrepreneurship consultant, and life coach. Most fulfilling has been founding Swadeshri Advisory Pvt Ltd, where I help women turn their business dreams into reality while creating a sustainable work-life balance. These accomplishments reflect not just academic or professional success, but the harmonious integration of ambition, family, and purpose that defines my life.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
To me, women empowerment means enabling every woman to make independent choices with confidence, dignity, and support — without having to sacrifice her dreams or her family. It is not just about financial independence or breaking glass ceilings; it is about creating an ecosystem of mentorship, resources, and emotional strength so women can pursue entrepreneurship or careers while nurturing their homes. True empowerment lies in dismantling self-doubt and societal pressure, allowing women to design lives on their own terms. When a woman rises, she doesn’t just uplift herself — she lights the path for daughters, sisters, and future generations.
Message for the society:
I wish to create awareness about the importance of work-life integration and mental well-being for working women and mothers. Society often celebrates the image of a “superwoman” who handles everything perfectly, which silently pushes many talented women towards burnout and guilt. My message is clear: real progress happens when we normalise support systems — be it shared responsibilities at home, flexible workplaces, or mentorship for women entrepreneurs. Let us move beyond judgment and build a culture where women are encouraged to seek help, celebrate imperfections, and pursue ambitions without apology. By promoting women-led entrepreneurship with balance at its core, we can create a stronger, happier, and more inclusive society.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
If crowned Mrs India International Queen, I will use the title as a powerful platform to expand the reach of Swadeshri Advisory. I plan to organise free mentorship workshops, financial literacy programs, and work-life balance sessions especially targeted at women from small towns and rural backgrounds. I intend to collaborate with NGOs, educational institutions, and corporate partners to create accessible support networks that provide guidance in business setup, legal awareness, and emotional wellness for working mothers. Through social campaigns, talks, and community drives, I will share stories of real women who are balancing ambition and family, inspiring thousands to believe in their potential. My vision is to build a movement where empowered women become mentors themselves, creating a ripple effect of positive change across India.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I have participated in Mrs India International Queen 2026 because I see it as a prestigious platform that celebrates the modern Indian woman — graceful, intelligent, ambitious, and rooted. As a Chartered Accountant, entrepreneur, life coach, and proud mother, I represent the voice of countless women who are successfully balancing career, family, and self-growth. Coming from a small town near Nashik, I want to show that with sincerity, dedication, and resilience, dreams can be achieved regardless of one’s background. This platform gives me the opportunity to amplify my message of women empowerment and work-life harmony on a national stage. More than the crown, I seek the chance to inspire and uplift other women, turning personal success into a larger purpose for society.
