MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Dr. Shilpi Saini

Dr. Shilpi Saini - Mrs India International Queen Finalist

Congratulations Dr. Shilpi Saini from Delhi for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2026! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Dr. Shilpi and here are her amazing answers:

Name: Shilpi Saini
Profession: Doctor

Qualification: MBBS, MD (Paediatrics) Class 1 Gazettes Officer in the ministry of National Health and Family Welfare

Location: Delhi

Strengths: A woman’s true strength is not only measured by how much she can endure, but by how deeply she can nurture, protect, and uplift others. As a pediatrician, this strength finds its purest expression. A woman in this role is more than a doctor – she is a guardian of childhood. She is the steady hand that holds a newborn’s first cry, the calm voice that reassures anxious parents, and the determined heart that fights for the life of a premature baby. Her strength lies not only in medical knowledge, but also in the compassion that transforms treatment into healing.

Being a pediatrician demands long hours, sleepless nights, and sacrifices, yet a woman carries it with grace. She balances her professional duty with her role as a mother, daughter, and wife, proving that strength is not the absence of struggle, but the courage to rise despite it.

In every smile she restores on a child’s face, in every future she saves, and in every parent’s tear of relief, her strength shines.

To me, the strength of a woman as a pediatrician is the power to heal with science, to comfort with empathy, and to inspire with resilience. And that, dear friends, is the true crown of honour she wears every single day.

Weakness: As a female pediatrician, my greatest strength-compassion-can also be my weakness. I carry my little patients’ pain in my heart, and sometimes it becomes hard to separate emotions from duty.

Balancing the demands of the hospital and the responsibilities at home is another challenge. In giving my best to everyone, I often forget to care for myself.

But these weaknesses do not make me less. They remind me that I am human, that I feel deeply, and that even in vulnerability, there is strength.

Because it is in embracing our imperfections that we discover our true power as women.

“My weakness may bend me, but it will never break me-because every fall only teaches me to rise stronger as a woman and as a pediatrician.”

Likes: What I like most about being a female pediatrician is the privilege of shaping the earliest chapters of life. Every child I treat is a future waiting to bloom, and being part of their journey gives me immense joy. I love the innocence in their smiles, the trust in their eyes, and the gratitude of parents whose hearts I reassure. It is deeply fulfilling to know that my knowledge and compassion together can save lives and bring hope.

Dislikes: But along with the blessings, there are challenges I dislike. The long hours, sleepless nights, and emotional weight of caring for sick children often leave little time for myself and my family. At times, society questions a woman’s ability to balance her career and her home, which can be disheartening. And the hardest part-the pain of losing a little one—never gets easier. Yet, even in these dislikes, I find purpose. They remind me that every sacrifice is worth it for the gift of a child’s healthy laughter. And that, to me, is the true reward of being a pediatrician.

Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:

  • Every woman is a story of struggles and victories—and the most beautiful chapter is the one she writes herself.
  • Success is not about shining alone—it’s about becoming the light that helps others shine.
  • True beauty is not in perfection, but in the strength to rise every time life tests us.
  • A woman’s greatest power is that she can nurture dreams while conquering challenges.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

I belongs to the family where girls are not very educated and it was a trend to make them married at early age, despite of that culture me and my mom decided that I will pursue MBBS. I am first Doctor of my family despite of all the hurdles created by people and now everyone is proud of me and they want to make their daughters like me.

Now I can proudly say that all the girls of my family use to say I want to become like my Bua, Masi, sister, mami, and finally now may daughter also says I want to become like my mother.

That feeling of pride is so much inspiring to me as well as to all women.

When I reflect on my journey as a pediatrician, the greatest achievement I carry is not written in medals or certificates, but in the beating hearts of the children I have healed.

I am proud of every premature baby who went home safely in the arms of their parents, every sick child who found the strength to smile again, and every anxious mother who left my clinic with hope instead of fear. These are not just patients to me-they are living testaments to my purpose.

What makes me proud is not only saving lives, but also touching them with compassion. It is the trust families place in me, and the bond I share with children who see not just a doctor, but a friend.

My true achievement is knowing that, in my own small way, I contribute to building a healthier, brighter future-one child at a time. And that, to me, is the crown I wear every single day with pride.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

To me, women empowerment is not about competing with men, but about giving women the freedom and opportunity to stand tall in their own identity. It is about ensuring that every girl is educated, every woman is respected, and every mother is celebrated.

As women, we wear many crowns—of love, of resilience, of sacrifice, and of strength. Yet, true empowerment begins when society acknowledges these strengths, and women themselves believe that there is no dream too big, no role too difficult, and no mountain too high for them to conquer.

An empowered woman doesn’t just uplift herself; she uplifts her family, her community, and the generations to come. When you empower a woman, you empower the nation.

Today, I stand here not just as a contestant, but as a voice for every woman who dares to dream. My message is simple: Be unstoppable. Be yourself. And always remember—your wings already exist; all you have to do is fly.

Message for the society:

As a pediatrician and a woman, my message to society is simple: nurture life, empower women, and invest in the future. Every child deserves health, love, and opportunities to grow. Every woman deserves respect, encouragement, and the freedom to chase her dreams. When we uplift women, we uplift families. When we protect children, we protect the future. Small acts of compassion, awareness, and care ripple into a stronger, healthier, and more equitable society. Let us remember: the strength of a society is measured by how it treats its children and women. Together, we can build a world where every child thrives and every woman shines.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

Being a Queen is not just a title-it’s a responsibility to create positive change. I want to dedicate myself to the well-being of children and women, because they are the foundation of a strong society.

I plan to raise awareness about child health and nutrition, provide medical guidance to underserved communities, and empower women through education and skill development.

I believe small, consistent efforts can create big ripples. By promoting health, education, and empowerment, I want to help build a society where children thrive, women are strong, and everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I have participated in Mrs India International Queen because I believe it is more than a beauty pageant

—it is a platform to inspire, empower, and create meaningful change in society. As a woman and a pediatrician, I want to use this opportunity to raise awareness about child health, women empowerment, and education, and to show that women can excel professionally while making a positive impact on their communities.

This platform allows me to share my story, advocate for causes close to my heart, and motivate others to pursue their dreams with courage and determination. For me, participating in Mrs India International Queen is about combining purpose with passion, and using the crown as a tool to serve society .
