MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Uma Mittal
Congratulations Mrs. Uma Mittal from Telangana, for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2025! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Uma and here are her amazing answers:
Name: Uma Mittal
Profession: Vice President at a Multinational Company
Qualification: Post Graduate in Finance
Location: Telangana
Strengths: I am a strong orator, who can express ideas confidently and clearly. I adapt quickly and bring a dynamic energy to every space I step into. I believe in myself and in the value of hard work. I don’t wait for things to happen — I take initiative and make them happen.
Weakness: I tend to be sensitive, and I trust people easily. While this helps me connect with others deeply, it has also taught me to be cautious and to balance emotion with reason.
Likes: I enjoy gardening — it teaches patience and care. Reading feeds my curiosity and helps me grow. Dancing brings joy and freedom to my routine. Above all, I value respectful conversations and believe in listening to different perspectives with an open mind.
Dislikes: I cannot tolerate double standards or disrespectful behaviour. I believe that honesty and mutual respect are essential in every relationship, personal or professional.
Tell us about your family:
It’s the 4 of us together. I am married to a tall and handsome gentleman, Vishal, who works at Genpact, is GB trained, a qualified FP&A professional and is truly my backbone. Together, we are raising two lovely daughters who are in school. My family is my strength, my support system, and my biggest achievement. Everything I have built professionally has been possible because of the strong foundation at home.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- To thine own self be true.
- Due to divine reasons, my light can’t be dimmed.
- Aim for the moon. If you miss, you’ll land among the stars
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
My greatest achievement is my family — being able to balance my roles as a mother, wife, and working and successful professional.
Professionally, being the Vice President at Wells Fargo at this age, in a competitive industry, is something I take great pride in.
My leadership journey began early — I was the Head Girl of my school and later served as the Joint Secretary of my college union.
But above all, I’m proud of the fact that I continue to stand strong and evolve — no matter the stage of life I’m in.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
To me, women empowerment means equal opportunities — whether in education, employment, leadership, or decision-making. It’s about ensuring women are not just present, but respected and heard. Empowerment is not just about giving — it’s about enabling women to take charge of their own journeys.
Message for the society:
It’s time women speak up for themselves. For years, others have spoken on our behalf — it’s now our turn to lead the narrative. My message is clear: Don’t wait for opportunities, create them.
Let’s raise women who don’t just dream but act, who don’t just survive but thrive. The change starts with believing that your voice is valid and your path is your own to build.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
When I am crowned, given the chance, I will use this platform to create mentorship spaces for young girls and working women, especially those who lack access to guidance or exposure.
I also want to work with schools to promote emotional intelligence, finance management and respect-based education from an early age. I aim to help build a more confident, inclusive, and aware generation, which I started with my daughters, who in turn will create a different world altogether.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I’ve always believed in exploring every aspect of who I am. I have always been drawn to platforms that celebrate women. Over the years, my focus was on building my career and nurturing my family, and I’ve done that with pride.
Now, with greater clarity and space for myself, I see this as the right moment to step into a new experience — one that aligns with my confidence, voice, and individuality. I’ve chosen to be at Mrs India International Queen not as a break from my journey, but as a bold extension of it — to rediscover, to represent, and to remind every woman that self-expression has no limits.
