Name: Surinder Pal Kaur
Profession: Teacher & House-Wife
Qualification: B.A., M.A.(English), B.Ed, CTET
Location: Delhi
Strengths: My strength is my wilful nature. I am never scared of challenges when it comes to chase my aim. Remember obstacles help to make you strong.
Weakness: I am a very emotional person. I trust people easily. Sometimes it hurts my feelings. Trust is the hardest thing to find and the easiest thing to lose.
Likes: I like dancing and reading. Dance helps me to come out of anxiety and soothes my soul. Reading gives me knowledge. Knowledge is the most powerful resource to conquer. So, Invest your time in reading.
Dislikes: I don’t like toxic nature of people. They will spread negativity around you so observe them not absorb. They will always act like a victim.
Tell us about your family:
I am from a joint family. Every day is like a festival for me with all of them. They always stand beside me to help, support and cheer up. My father-in- law treats me like his own daughter. Their love and blessings are the reason of my courage.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- Just one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.

- Learn from obstacles. Remember challenges are the first step of success.
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
I am proud that I stood bravely with my son during his cleft surgery. I faced every challenge with courage. We fought against all odds together with valour. I am first woman of my family who achieved to crack CTET. Won many debates and quiz competition during my college days. l am also a proud and dedicated teacher.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women empowerment is an environment where women feel safe and secure. Women should not have to fear social oppression like dowry, harassment, domestic violence and girl child foeticide. A woman be allowed to choose her aim without any interferes. That would be a day of women empowerment.
Message for the society:
I want to make people aware about mental health disorder depression. It is a common mental health disorder characterized by sadness, loss of interest in activities. It not only effect the body but also increase emotional distress. Society can reduce misconception by openly discussing and challenging negative stereotypes. Creating inclusive environment reduce loneliness safe and supportive spaces can significantly improve mental health.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
To follow the legacy of this prestigious crown, I am definitely going to work for under privileged children. They also deserve basic necessities like food, education and health care. They are future of the nation. Whoever is kind to the needy honors god.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
Mrs India International Queen is the most promising and glorified platform where I will get opportunity to raise my voice for oppression issues. This crown will give me an opportunity to become a role model for other women those really want to fulfill their desired dreams and aim.
