MRS INDIA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN FINALIST Mrs. Parul Singh
Congratulations Mrs. Parul Singh from Jharkhand for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2026! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Parul and here are her amazing answers:
Name: Parul Singh
Profession: Deputy Collector, Jharkhand Administrative Service – Currently posted as Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Aditypur Nagar Nigam | Public Policy Practitioner | Changemaker
Qualification: LL.B | NET Qualified | Master’s in History (Lady Shri Ram College, DU) | Master’s in Business Law (Lucknow University) B. Ed
Location: Jharkhand
Strengths: I have the rare ability to remain deeply human while being fiercely rational. My strengths lie in intuitive leadership, moral courage, disciplined execution, and an unshakeable devotion towards public good. I do not break in a crisis — I become luminous through it.
Weakness: I hold myself to extremely high standards of excellence, and I often struggle to rest without first achieving absolute completion. I am actively learning that balance, too, is a form of mastery — and that softness is also strength.
Likes: Stories that liberate, minds that think beyond boundaries, classical art, silence that teaches, and purposeful conversations that rewire possibilities.
Dislikes: Narrow- mindedness, the treatment of women as ornamental, structural injustice, performative morality, and anything that diminishes human dignity.
Tell us about your family:
My husband is currently posted as the District Judge (Family Court), Jamshedpur – dedicated to law, fairness and constitutional justice. We are blessed with one son studying in Class 10 — a compassionate learner who is growing up witnessing that both “Justice and Governance” are not careers… they are sacred.
Quotes that keep you going, motivate you:
- My courage was not inherited — it was carved out of the storms that tried to drown me.
- A woman becomes unstoppable the moment she decides that her purpose is larger than her fears.
- Integrity is my armour, empathy is my compass, and resilience is the quiet fire I carry within.
- I do not walk to impress the world — I walk to expand the limits of what a woman can be.
- Where others see obstacles, I see altars — places where I rise, renew, and redefine myself.
Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:
I stand proud not merely for the positions I have held — but for the systems I have strengthened, the lives I have uplifted, and the dignity I have restored across some of the most challenging landscapes of Jharkhand.
My service has taken me from the flood-ravaged river belts — where I led rescue and relief risking my own safety — to the Naxal-affected interiors where I worked alongside CRPF battalions to ensure the protection and rehabilitation of vulnerable communities.
My tenure as SDM Seraikela and SDM Jamshedpur became a turning point: through decisive raids on illegal mining networks, crackdowns on narcotics trafficking, and coordinated operations against human trafficking syndicates, I earned the public title of “Lady Singham of Jamshedpur” — a title that reflects not aggression, but courage anchored in justice.
I have negotiated sensitively with the Uranium Corporation in Jadugoda to secure fairer outcomes for local villagers, delivered mass welfare schemes during the COVID-19 crisis with unrelenting compassion, and ensured the transparent, accelerated completion of PMAY rural housing across the district.
For these efforts, I have received:
- State-Level Letters of Appreciation from the Rural Development Department, Government of Jharkhand for innovative MNREGA initiatives
- Official appreciation from the Minister, Women & Child Development for welfare work during COVID-19
- Recognition for maximum completion of PMAY (Gramin) houses
- District-level awards for constructing the highest number of Shauchalay
- Commendation for the peaceful and efficient conduct of Vidhan Sabha Elections 2024
- Honour among the Top 50 Women Leaders
- The prestigious Global Recognition Award 2025
These honours are not personal milestones — they are living proof that when a woman leads with conscience, courage and compassion, her work transforms into legacy, and her journey becomes a light for others to rise.
What is Women Empowerment according to you?
Women Empowerment, to me, is the renaissance of the feminine spirit — the moment a woman stops inheriting silence and begins authoring her own destiny. It is the reclamation of her intrinsic sovereignty, the awakening of her unmediated voice, and the expansion of her potential beyond the narrow corridors society once prescribed for her.
Empowerment is not a cosmetic slogan; it is a civilizational shift — a movement from permission to self-possession. It is when a woman’s choices are not negotiated, her dreams are not edited, and her brilliance is not dimmed to protect the fragility of others.
A truly empowered woman does not rise against the world — she rises for herself, and in doing so, she elevates an entire ecosystem. Empowerment is when a woman becomes her own institution — intellectually sovereign, emotionally invincible, and spiritually expansive. It is the transformation of a woman from being “seen” to being unforgettable.
Message for the society:
My message to society is simple yet seismic:
Let us craft a world where a woman’s worth is measured not by conformity, but by courage.
Let us raise daughters who inherit freedom instead of fear, and sons who understand that respect is not an accessory — it is a lifelong discipline. Let us build homes where ambition is not gendered, workplaces where dignity is non-negotiable, and public spaces where safety is an unquestioned right.
A society thrives not when it controls its women, but when it celebrates them as catalytic forces of progress. When we invest in a woman’s voice, we strengthen the nation’s conscience. When we invest in her education, we fortify generations. And when we invest in her freedom, we create a future that is luminous, inclusive, and undefeatable.
May we evolve into a civilization where women are not applauded for enduring injustice, but for dismantling it with wisdom, grace and unapologetic strength.
How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?
“If I am crowned, my crown will not be worn on my head — it will be worn on my purpose.”
I will use this platform to amplify the work I already live every day as a public servant — building dignity, safety, and opportunities for those who are unheard. My vision is to create a National Dignity & Empowerment Initiative for women, especially those from vulnerable communities, tribal belts, and conflict-affected regions.
I want to mentor young girls to claim their voice, guide women in public service to lead with empathy, and create awareness campaigns around anti-trafficking, financial literacy, menstrual dignity, digital safety, and grassroots leadership.
I intend to take my field experiences — from flood rescues to anti-trafficking raids, from rehabilitating tribal habitations to completing large-scale welfare missions — and turn them into modules of courage, so that every woman knows she is capable of transforming her own world.
My service has never been limited to my designation; neither will my impact be limited by my crown.
If I rise, thousands of young women will rise with me.
Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?
I have participated in Mrs India International Queen because this platform celebrates women not for their perfection, but for their purpose. It honours substance over spectacle, voice over vanity, and courage over conformity — values that have shaped my life as a District Officer, a frontline responder, and a woman who has fought for justice at the grassroots.
I joined this pageant not to become “someone new,” but to expand the impact of who I already am.
As a woman known as the “Lady Singham of Jamshedpur” for my operations against illegal mining, human trafficking, and narcotics — I want to use my journey to show India that strength can be graceful, leadership can be compassionate, and a Queen can also be a warrior.
Mrs India International Queen gives me a stage where my story is not just heard — it can ignite other women to rewrite theirs.
And that is why I am here:
to transform my journey into a lighthouse for every woman who has forgotten how powerful she truly is.
