My family comprises of my husband, my son and my mother-in-law. My family has always been very supportive in each step of my life. They have stood beside me strong and tall, and supported me even during tough times of my life. The most dear and loving member of my family is my son whom I love the most and try my best to impart and teach the best I can, so he becomes a better human being.

Quotes that keep you going, motivates you:

Few quotes that describe me are as follows:

  • One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you are put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.
  • Never get upset. Always get “Up” and “Set” yourself.
  • The life in front of you is far more important than the life behind you.
  • You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

I am proud of creating a balance between my work life and personal life. I am proud that no matter how difficult the situations life has thrown me into or self-created, I have given my best to get back on my feet positive and strong.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

According to me women empowerment is to give the same status to the women in the society as men. It means to give the women the right to voice her opinion and to be respected and accepted for who she is. It means to give her the freedom to learn, unlearn, make mistakes and to give her a chance to rectify those mistakes so that she can bounce back more powerful and strong. Women empowerment to me means giving the women the right to education, right to speech and opinion and right to decide for her own. I believe healthy, educated and empowered women are agents of change and empowering women is essential to the health and social development of the families, communities and countries.

Message for the society:

I would like to create an awareness in the society regarding child’s welfare. Children are the future of our country and the initial years of a child are considered to be the most important as it creates a strong base for the life ahead. Therefore, I want to increase awareness on the importance of healthy child development of the children.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

I always wanted to do something and contribute my bit to make our society a better place to live. I believe to make a society a better place to live, I am not going to take any huge or a big step initially to start with. I will begin by taking baby steps and bring small changes. I believe displaying daily moments of kindness and those little things that brings a smile on everyone’s face, those are the kind of deeds that matter and help to make the society a better place to live in. I want to be a positive role model to the children and the younger generation because they see and follow the adults. Teaching them to respect each and everyone is the best way to make the society a better place to live.
